The fight with Sif felt like a personal attack and I'm glad I didn't turn the game off for good like I considered, but the bullshit normal dog mobs can suck a fatty.

I say let the artistic process take you. Could always keep with the same resolution for a run of cards (like your basic lands) and switch it up if you feel a bit more resolution would help the current project.

Nice! Though it seems a little... Tame? More smoke and a bit faster on the particles coming off the wheels at first maybe? The speed of the smoke seems good for standing smoke but I feel like there should be more action around the tires. Could watch some summernats for a (rather extreme) reference.

You're absolutely right. But also this is nothing new. Nvidia has been doing this since PhysX in the '00s and likely before that. They also used to not support freesync despite having zero reason to not do so.
