While the world as I know it is falling apart, I’ve thrown myself into working out harder than usual. I’m doing other things too, more important things, but this is what centers me and gives me the drive to do what needs done. My hope for you is that you all find something to anchor yourselves, too.

I showed up for myself today. 120 minutes of leg day, when I really didn’t feel like it, I did it. ❤️

Grief is weird. Losing someone you have loved for so long is one of those things that you can’t really explain to others who haven’t lived it. 28 years of friendship just wasn’t enough time. I urge everyone to make those plans with those people you care for, because tomorrow isn’t promised.

Dill is tired.

“Don’t hate the player hate the game” You underestimate my ability to hate multiple things at once

We see you. WHO is grateful for the love 💙 and messages of support we received. We stand by you. #HealthForAll

You are here. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

do you like our shoelaces?

Get strong, then get stronger.

Most Black folks knew this nonsense was coming. It's wrong, but we've always had to hustle, so I feel like collectively we'll be all right. But I also can't help thinking that a whole lot of white people, deprived of the "DEI" excuse, are about to get a wake-up call about their own mediocrity.

Bedtime tea in an appropriate mug.

A helpful chart if you find yourself in the same predicament as Elon.

Food for thought.

TikTok is banned in my heart, no matter what the government says.

This is the GOP’s long con on full display.

For the people in the back…

Goodbye for now TikTok. Thank you for everything, the laughs, the mental health, and all the friends we made along the way!

I’m trying to not run as much for cardio, so I’m walking instead. Static X’s Wisconsin Death Trip album is perfect for a good walking pace! No need to shuffle. Thank me later.

In a good mood. At work. How novel!

I started a weight loss journey about 10 years ago. My PCOS had turned into type 2 diabetes, and I needed to make some changes. After lots of starts and stops, I finally fully dedicated my self to actually changing my life 18 months ago. I’ve lost a total of 250 pounds (70 in the last 18 months).

Here are my 3 cats. Left to right is Dill (4), Daizu (1), and Miso (1).
