Connolly: "The public did not give Trump a mandate to dismantle whole chunks of the federal govt. It gave him a mandate to kick the tires, check the dipstick, and make sure things are running well and efficiently. What Elon Musk is doing is way beyond any mandate that Trump could possibly claim."
