This links in very nicely with the N-TUTORR GenAI N3 network, led by @hazelfarrell.bsky.social at SETU. See genain3.ie for an overview of work to date.

The panel also recommended for [the government] to establish a system to ensure equitable access to AI tools in education, as well as facilitate a “national conversation” between teachers, parents, students, and unions as well as other representatives once the guidelines are published.

Thanks to Liz Thomas for providing the opportunity for students to speak about this & reimagine their educational experience. Also the fantastic student jurors who took part! One student participant's last words were "thank you for listening".

Many stories about late buses, missing buses, and sometimes buses that leave before the scheduled time. Expectations to be on campus when the only scheduled class that day is a 50 minute tutorial. Lack of space to study on campus. Lack of parking on campus. No time to spend with family.

Fascinating discussion by an expert panel, chaired by @marclar.bsky.social, at the HEA T&L event on student experience and the importance of listening to student voices.

Really enjoying this HEA T&L conference. Apart from the programme, which is great, it’s wonderful to catch up with so many people. As @bree-edu.bsky.social observed, it’s like being at a wedding with all your friends.
