I always hear that the g502 dies quick but I've had my g502 wired for seven years and it's still going strong. Is it the wireless that dies fast?

Ok but I need to know: can air breathing aquatic animals technically survive large bodies of fresh water (not having to worry about something something osmosis like fish?)? Like could a dolphin live and swim in the great lakes, and would that be easier than moving in salt water because it's lighter?

"Oops! All Kings" vs "Oops! All Pawns" but the point cost for both is so low and we place so many that our units are basically touching after deployment

And now Canadians without dental insurance can apply to get 80% off dental cost at any age! (before it was only for 65+) I'll also note that I'm on a biologic medication that's prohibitively expensive and I get it *for free* and delivered directly to my door (also for free). I GLADLY pay taxes!

I DO pride myself on using different form factors per tree if the trees are tightly packed (high canopy, sparse lower foliage) or single-standing (full body, usually round, huge canopy starting from the middle). Also helps with sight lines/occlusion

as an envi artist who has done stuff like this, please don't look too closely at my vent ducts, wires, or brickwork 🀫 let me distract you with skeletons in silly positions or treasure behind waterfalls πŸ˜…

I love this idea as a show because you only need one actress to play all princesses, one royal attendant, and the assassins can be a "monster of the week" style big ticket actor to do an episode or two. You don't even need the queen b/c she's so absentee πŸ˜‚

Show name: Oops, All Princesses!

Now each anti-assassin "princess" hires assassins to hit the other princesses to be the only one, without getting assassinated by their own assassin because they'd all look alike. To convince the assassin that they're the one who hired them, elaborate handshakes are involved.

An oddly specific thing that I REALLY like about this is 1. Everything about the boots, and, 2. Specifically the texture of the spikes on the boot's kneecaps aren't mirrored so the white is on the inside/outside for both. I've been really enjoying the adventure of seeing you work through this 😎

It's a regular tool for me and I also didn't know this. I knew that Shift + Scroll rotated on (what I think is) 10 degree increments but I didn't know this way.

Not many people know this but air traffic controllers actually rizz up the pilots to fly the planes responsibly.

The part he's missing is "grow up in a family that's rich from slave labour in the 1800s, so any military position I get means I'll never be on the front lines and the great depression barely affects me."

And I want to note that this is not necessarily the prof's fault either! They're not paid nearly enough, and having 50+ students all asking for feedback/iteration is a ton of work even if it were split across a few TA's. It's not impossible to do but does cost money that uni's aren't willing to pay!
comment in response to post
I do not think that's typical at all in today's education. My partner is doing her masters right now (and did her undergrad in her early 20s) and rarely had that experience. She also TA'ed last semester and the prof didn't let her share her notes for feedback unless the student specifically asked.

Not excusing the use of AI obvs, but there's a ton of pressure to perform perfectly when you're still a kid for tens of thousands of dollars. AI is just the next step from hiring someone to write a paper for you. It's bad, but we know the fix is a massive refactor of how education is taught.

My only thoughts is that while we want to believe that the learning is the point, very few modern-day western education systems actually support that. There's rarely chance for iterative learning, and the expectation is to be perfect the first time for papers worth 10/15/30%?!

Yes but weirdly only for Spiderman when swinging and Bethesda games in first person?? Not for other first person games or other third person games?

I was gifted an Ember coffee mug; a mug that has a drink warmer built in. It has an app. But it's so expensive that I feel like I need to use it and therefore need to use the app... πŸ™„ I used it once and haven't since.

Mushrooms have chitin in their fruiting bodies. Octopi have a small amount of chitin in their skin and their beaks are entirely made of it. Therefore octopi are mushrooms 😌

Exactly! Like it isn't great for nepotism/etc, but hell, some games get funded by the US military!! It could be worse! It feels like these people care more about the "plucky dev who pulled up their bootstraps and made a great thing" than a big team being paid fairly.
