This was never an issue until the PGMOL started to let Anthony Taylor and Mike Dean ref the Manchester & Merseyside clubs, respectively.
The PGMOL consistently put needless pressure upon themselves. This needs to stop. They may claim they don't support these teams but friends & family members will.

She didn't say we are worse now, though. She obviously referred to when she was younger. She goes on to say she's from Leeds and didn't want to support them for similar reasons. I'll defend Everton FC as much as anyone. I just don't think it's required here. Whataboutery gets us nowhere.

She's allowed her opinion, mate. I've hated clubs for a lot less tbh. She is right. We had an awful reputation. It's important to recognise, learn, and move on, which thankfully the club and fans have done.
