Two passions in one! My "real job" is tutoring for a reputable company using evidence-based practices. In another engagement, I design & deliver book studies & PD for teachers because (according to one source in Australia) if we wait for teacher prep programs to "catch up," it could take 28 years!!!

I have entered a bunch of contests and events this year. Each time I learn of a new one, it lights a fire under my writing bum. My critique partners commented on how little accountability steps make a difference.

I wonder if all the positive art and words read aloud into cyber space at the same time, on the same day, would be enough to gum up the internet? What if millions of voices read aloud on the capital steps? What if silence isn’t golden? Not just who, but HOW?

I’m in a critique group formed last fall with mostly unpublished members. We’re learning together, and branching out.
