Dear God…how one party keeps on having such absurd levels of delusional hubris concentrated within the leaders they elect defies probability. Is there, I wonder a genetic predisposition to these levels of nonexistent self-awareness? Maybe a geneticist should launch some well needed research.

Bless… living proof that money can neither buy you happiness or looks. If the world’s richest man still manages to be the world’s ugliest, after all that surgery…I’m very happy to just age gracefully and never waste my money.

The next GE is 53 calendar months away…there’s enough crap going on in the world atm to hold my attention (or ignore for my sanity) without worrying about a GE that doesn’t have to be held until July 2029

Most child-bullies do.

The white building by the lakeside is where I was born - - years ago! The former Cottage Hospital. Beautiful picture 😊

But those deliciously attractive blue passports…who doesn’t salivate while clutching them possessively in an hour long passport queue on the way home from a sophisticated European city to Little Britain?

I’m sure the steak is raw too, and she eats it straight off the bone. Indeed she probably eats it straight off the live cow while saying ‘Look at me…I’m a natural born, carnivorous alpha (fe)male leader… vote for me’ as she chews on a bone and downs a few pints of high strength lager. Impressive 🙄

I remember him as a child on BBC NI evening news bulletin. He’s been marvellous on Radio 3. He will be very badly missed. Such a wonderful send-off for him from some of his good friends!

I suspect that quantum physicists will one day discover the presence of particles which bounce around human beings playing these practical jokes on them and laughing a shrill quantum laugh which only the other particles can hear.

There’s enough of them to form a group? 🤔

Doubt that it’s caused his…he’d spontaneously combust if he were ever to voluntarily darken the door of any church. His issues may have more to do with scoffing foie gras and guzzling £400 bottles of red wine.

America is now just run by a frat bro bunch of high school bullies, toxic alpha males and their beta male minions. I deleted the First Lady’s forum completely last week. It’ll be very very slow, but in time, the toxic fraternity will disintegrate and decency with values will prevail….it always does…

Hadn’t realised the First Lady was allowed an official government role? #Elonia #Flotus

Ah, yes, sledging…that ‘once every 15-25 years activity’ for lowland UK. How disruptive of those pesky trees!

Such a cheery voice of normality in our kitchens during the dysfunctional years of growing up in the NI Troubles. Loved hearing her comforting, optimistic voice in between great music.

Wise words! I was in Berlin in November 2016. People were literally walking about in silence on the streets that morning. There was real despair in a city that knew a thing or two about the evils of populism and its henchmen. We can but hope.

Insightful for sure. Terrifying…absolutely! Have the stakes in a US election ever been higher? This day next week….🥺I am almost dreading what the news that morning will bring. All we can do is hope is that enough decent people in the Swing States can realise how crucial their votes are!

Geography as my first degree, and a big lifelong interest in geography, travel, geopolitics and a host of associated topics. I’d never heard of the Chagos Islands before last week. I would doubt that many UK residents including those who read the Express or Mail ever had either.

Just home on a flying visit, and was walking down Main Street as I realised that O’Kane’s is two doors down from the one pictured above…both are great, but O’Kanes is my favourite.
