How about a boycott of Bass Pro and other stores who have consistently donated thousands to Trump?

Go get 'em!

I dont know if this website is accurate. Hopefully he is pissed at potential loss of income. He donated over 300K, indirectly, to help Trump. With lots of luck, maybe he and others are speaking up.

Insomnia queen here. I did some digging. Apparently Bass Pro bought Cabelas. Billionaire Johnny Morris owns Bass Pro and as I guessed, he is a Trump supporter. www.opensecrets.org/orgs/bass-pr...

Maybe this is spiking his blood pressure a bit too much.

Getting retailers such as Bass Pro, Cabelas, Walmart, gun, archery and fishing shops, and others involved would be good. They'll lose significant income if the lands are sold. I'd love to see backlash aimed at NRA, they've given so much to the republicans threatening their constituents' activities.

They do.

We'd lose about half our trail system, I'm guestimating at first glance. We rely heavily on tourism. Do you think these ideas are helpful? I don't have the audience or planning skills to promote these ideas. Maybe someone here does..... Especially to the hunting community.

There are homeowners who border the lands for sale. Same thing, once they look at this map, it may activate more people. In my community, if the land is sold, hundreds of homeowners will have to face the consequences of the buyer.

I have already begun a feeble start to bring this to the attention of my local mountain biking community on FB. I'll be contacting influential people in my town's related businesses and mountain bike groups. Hopefully, I can start a ripple.

This also affects trail runners, hikers, mountain bikers, and others who do not support Dump. That interactive map can be used to point out what trail systems we would lose. That knowledge may bring more people to activism. I am part of the mountain biking and trail running world.

Many campers and ATV'ers are also pro Dump. They use BLM and Forest Service lands too. On a ven diagram, many would overlap with the hunters and fishermen/women. Other retailers affected with declining sales: RV dealerships, cross country and similar motorcycles, and ATV dealers.

In Colorado, hunting and fishing licenses, as I understand, are our state's largest revenue source. Of course as a blue state, I doubt our government overall could use this to pressure the regime. It might be a point to make with the red representatives in terms of re-election.

Pushing this information to retailers such as Bass Pro, Cabelas, Walmart and more might be a powerful tool. This could impact the NRA, if the hunters can't hunt and begin to understand that the NRA has supported this elephant regime. It couldn't hurt to have the NRAs supporters turn on them.

Other tracts will break up large chunks of forest, disrupting wildlife, thus ruining their experiences on land that remains public. Economically, if they can't participate in their activity, they won't be buying stuff. That will hit gun, archery, fishing equipment, and ATV sales, I'd expect.

@altfws.altgov.info I truely believe this information can be used against dump. Many of his supporters are hunters and fishermen. I know Colorado lands fairly well. Much of the land being sold is land they utilize, especially those who don't have permission to go on private land.

Also hikers, campers, trail runners, mountain bikers, and???? I'm starting to spread word in the mountain biking society.

We need to get this out to NRA members, hunter's and fisherman's associations, and recreational four-wheeler groups. We'll find lots of MAGA and dump supporters who might start realizing they're going to eventually get screwed too.

@paleofuture.bsky.social Any word on the big BS bill?

Yeah. Let's hope for more good luck there.

YES!! I grew up being taught to fear big cities. Education, travel, and my husband have helped me overcome the majority of that fear.

Now we know what Dump will do next. 🤬💩 Fuck this shit

I was hoping for only a short burst of light sprinkles. I'll need to keep the dogs inside again. A significant portion of their exercise enclosure is not finished and they would just bring in mud. Hopefully, there will be no hail. .....heavy sigh.......

An idea for protesters: Carry signs stating that the Natl. Guard/Marines/other military took their oath to the Constitution. The more they see, the more they will think about that.
