Also there’s an interesting glitch in Platinum wild double battles where a Pokemon’s sprite could glitch out if a shiny spawns! Only seems to happen if the regular Pokémon has a longer animation than the shiny one. As a fan of both shinies and glitches, I’m thriving!

Oh also guys there’s no way I’m getting it on the first phase because phase 1 ended last year! Shiny hoothoot on route 205 (dustox has the same encounter rate there) on the cursed ds lite :) But phase two? Still doable. Highly unlikely.
