Wish they had same compassion for Ukranians.

It's a good story, but executed poorly as a film, like the cuts in this film were so confusing. The character development can't match the original at all either.

Is this in Polish only for me? Is it some BlueSky feature, or did Kojima post a Polish Netflix show?

I won't join the discussion but just a little heads up not to write "the Ukraine". I know it wasn't intentional, but it has a bad historical baggage.

I agree, it seems the majority within Russia is indifferent at best.

There really should be an EU army, or waaaay more cooperation one way or another.

I understand the anger, but there are actually Russians fighting for Ukraine too. This is more than I do.

Real shame they are buying US aircraft still.

Dude I'm sorry but this really isn't a conversation for me, I'm just concerned with my family's safety.

I agree with them, as in I believe the risk of him invading Europe again, especially Baltics, is high if he succeds in Ukraine. As for domestic politics, I don't follow them much in France or UK.
comment in response to post
Nope, but possibly the Baltics if they smell weakness

What about transport? If I understand correctly, there is no pipeline, right?

It is true that the first predictions made were optimistic, but it's also not true that russia is holding up well. Currently they are forcing banks to give loans to military companies that cannot pay them back. There are a lot of factors that suggest it's a time bomb, how long exactly no one knows

Russia had invaded like 5 or so countries after 1989, before Ukraine.
comment in response to post
This has already happened.

Trump might achieve peace by complete fucking accident if he continues destroying the economy

Personalmente, uso Le chat.

Good luck.

I was also once a part of a revolutionary left group, they operate like a cult. I hope you're able to get out friend.
comment in response to post
This can go on for ages, but by your constant use of "the West" and dismissing a news source based on the fact it's Western, I'm guessing you would consider yourself revolutionary left or something adjacent to it?
comment in response to post
It's a shame it didn't, I didn't personally get the impression it would, but I did expect more damage to it. Unfortunately they have proved more effective at evading sanction.
comment in response to post
Do people think that? They'd be jailed by Putin if they were operating from Russia. Eitherway, I would never use a pro-putin news source.

To prove just and law are synonyms, you'd have to prove there are no unjust laws. Seizure reasons: environmental impact, disabling tracking systems, operating under flags of convenience, and using non-transparent ownership structures to avoid detection and enforcement of sanctions . - Moscow Times

Yes, if you pass that law, then it's a law. Law and just aren't synonyms. Sure, pirates are level with EU. A criminal can be helped coincidentally by the police, doesn't mean it's unfair to arrest him if they realise he was a criminal.
comment in response to post
I mean, that is how law works, you declare something as illegal and it is. Pirates don't lay our clearly who they will raid, where, and exactly under what conditions. Can I ask, do you think these ships are Russian?
comment in response to post
Dead cat bounce
comment in response to post
The ships are there illegally, these laws aren't hidden.
comment in response to post
These ships aren't supposed to be there, they aren't seizing random ships they fancy on that day.
comment in response to post
These ships aren't supposed to be there. Russia sneaks them in by registering them in different countries and always changing these registrations.

comment in response to post
comment in response to post
10 years ago or so it was the Russians. So I'm willing to bet it wasn't an accident
comment in response to post
At the point, I'm just hoping US stays distracted and keeps sanctions on for a long as possible because of it.
