It's legitimately great that Amir is being recognized for the good he's doing in the industry to help laid off gamedevs, but it's also like those "cute" stories about teachers working a second job to pay for school supplies. The root of the issue is still festering all over the industry.

Game awards were worth watching. Not just because Geoff got ripped on; but the games, the amazing developers and especially Amir Satvat who took time out his personal life to help game artists, developers etc find a job back in the industry with everything that’s happened this year. A real GOAT.
