Screw lobbyists. This government has already been bought. There are more of us (aka “regular” people) than them, and it’s supposed to be a DEMOCRACY with checks & balances. It’s time to take the big bucks out of it.

2 yrs ago I started decluttering. Hope to eventually go minimalist but a long way to go. Decluttering & organizing 53 years worth of crap has helped curb spending. I think it’s something everyone could work towards. This could be good 1st step. They’ve def made spending too easy & in your face

Then don’t participate. This is the beginning. We have to start somewhere and most people can’t go long periods of time without making purchases, but 1 day or 1 week can help get the point across. Sometimes we have to start with smaller steps.

There were protests at every state capitol 2/5, now happening again on Presidents' Day. Last time thousands of people showed up despite limited lead time and promotion.
