One of the expendable soldiers from minority groups in the east. He even looks Mongolian.

They did that back in 1917. They got tired of fighting WWI.

Maybe those were not mines but smoke bombs?

That's how it seemed to me too. They may have been mobile for a few minutes, but that would be all.

Very true. But Putin has to pay a a hard political price for waging domestic terror.

I think banjotime is being metaphoric

If Graham can get his sanctions bill through, it will be a real blow to Trump.

I am not seeing the recent destruction of the Russian bombers included in these totals. Did I miss something?

I have the same question as to protection they provide. It looks like they may be effective for keeping a direct hit, but none from dropped mines etc. Certainly a lot less weight and greater mobility than the barn structures they use.

The amazing things is that this was done with tractor trailers and FPV drones. If the modern US military carried this out, it would have cost $100's of millions. This is not to criticize the might of the US military, but to point out that we have lots to learn and the times are changing.

Astute point!

It appears that was a fiber optic drone. Anyone know?

That's what it means. The US will never back Ukraine until Trump no longer holds office and may even go beyond that until MAGA is gone from the White House. These are strictly transactional people and seemingly against liberal Europe if only for aesthetic reasons.

I'm going with $12K down on a five year lease.

Any more than three shots to the back of the head looks suspicious.

Don't be so tough on him. I have made the same mistake many times!

Beautiful clean coal.

Was this a fiber optic drone?

It's bread and butter work for Ukrainian drone operators.

No doubt he will be "jumped" out of a window

If Trump were president of Ukraine, he would call them all losers and only trade for them if their families could pay a ransom.

You have no idea whether Chuck Schumer is "fighting behind the scenes." I heard the same excuse about Merrick Garland when people where saying that he was doing nothing to prosecute Trump. How do you stand with Chuck Schumer and simultaneously fight these fascists - by signing petitions?

When I saw the documentary Winter on Fire on YouTube, I thought "How did Putin think these people would fold in a week?"

Those bodies will be floating up after a winter or two.

European nations are insane to think that arming Ukraine is too expensive. Ukraine is bleeding for them and money is cheap compared to the loss of life and destruction of cities.
comment in response to post
Russia is spent and an attack on the Baltic states would be rapidly repelled by European forces. The decimation of their armor has been carefully documented since the beginning of their attack on Ukraine.

No count of golf carts and motorcycles (sarcasm)? A refinery / oil depot count would be really good (not sarcasm).
comment in response to post
Stochastic sabotage? That would really be a bad trend for Russia.
comment in response to post
Hey - quit making me laugh!
comment in response to post
Your sentiments are certainly realistic, but on the optimistic side, the use of golf carts and bicycle attacks are not a good sign of Ruzzian strength.

I'd sure hate to be anywhere near an exploding ball bearing factory.

They wish they could smoke Camels. They probably all smoke shitty Russian brands.

That seems to be the general consensus. Irrespective of their nominal gains, they seem to be out of fighting equipment and morale.

No doubt walking on their knees doing penance.

I don't think these are real skulls of Russians. They all have teeth.

It shows the power of visionaries who see the world clearly for what it is, not what they want it to be.

Russia is an existential threat to Western Europe and destroying their extensive armaments is a big blow to them. Pardon the hyperbole.

If Ukraine didn't hit the facility, it implies sabotage.

I leaned one important thing from this video - remember to backup your documents to the cloud. Thanks to UKR for blowing up this truck. I hope they got a number of Orcs too.

I have a great love for the music of Sibelius. Indeed, nothing like the Russians.
