Good morning Bluesky pals, hope you're well and dandy! Me & the husb had a gorgeous time catching up with my bestie & her lovely fella over food, booze and many laughs. On the drive home we saw loads of Red Kites, 2 Kestrels and best of all, a barn owl floating gracefully looking for its tea 🦉😍

I’m going to try switch this round. BvS is a hit for lots of reasons (No. 1 being that it’s brilliant), & I think it’s separately tapping into the same energy & sense of anarchy as Dog Man that kids get. But I think that we need to broaden - why are Telgemeier and Oseman hitting older readers too?

Just seen a job ad for Head of Campaigns for Richard Osman books and it’s confirmed my suspicion that celebrity authors have way more money spent on their campaigns than non celebrity authors. It really gets my goat. Publishing is still an old school boys’ club isn’t it? 🙄 #Publishing #BookSky

While I don't write book reviews, I do read a lot of them & often recommend books (tho I find this hard cos who wants to know my opinion?). I've noticed a trend of nasty comments and I think it's unecessary. You can respectfully explain why something didn't work for you without being mean 📚 #BookSky
