It's not ableist. In this case, it is actually 100% you just being lazy.

Measurements, and measuring, is a key part to making sewn, woven, or any fabric art. Numbers are what brings the pieces together. It's not toxic to be knowledgeable on what makes art happen. Sorry it is too complicated for you, it is actually really simple and I think you aren't trying at all 😝

All people who Care about clothes and how they fit will know their measurements. You don't fit in that category? That's okay.

I never once said that the normal person should have to know their measurements. I said, you don't deserve clothes that fir(tailored, measured) if you can't respect the process of measuring. You want ease? Demand? Buy an xxxl baggy shirt or whatever you can assume will fit. Leave artists alone.

I can tell you know nothing about sewing or clothing making. If you don't think measurements are important, YOU DO NOT DESERVE CLOTHES THAT FIT. yes, it is that simple! Have some respect for the craft. Stop replying to me.

Wear a burlap sack then. Once again it is no one's responsibility to make clothes that are tailored to you.

Yeah I'm saying if you give a damn how your clothes fit you should care to measure yourself to make sure they will fit. otherwise do not complain! I'm glad you understand!

I am born female. I have huge hips. A lot of jean brands don't fit me well. I have to find the one that has an average that is built like me. Most women do because they have a body unique to them. The fact you don't see clothing production as an art but demand inclusivity is unfortunate :p

yeah yeah me telling you to pull out a measuring tape and read the number to know your size is ableist. My bad. sorry billy

Yeah so once again, there is a reason for this and you are showing your ignorance. The reason shirt fits typically vary for women more is because women's chests, therefore shirts, vary much more than men's. Again, most brands have an average. You're comparing apples to oranges.

Also, people who care about their clothes/fashion are used to shopping by their measurements and not their "size" because averages of sizes vary wildly in different countries.

mass produced based on a "average." It's so hilarious, to want inclusivity , but to be lazy about it. You want all small to be the same? Based on? What size? If you aren't willing to do part of the work to research, you shouldn't be willing to purchase. Clothing production is an art, remember that.

They aren't doing it on purpose. When you want small to be the same everywhere, you are asking something unrealistic. Most brands base their sizes on a body type and average it, which is why they never fit right Everywhere. You can choose, Billy. Inclusivity and clothes that fit tailored, or

Learn your body measurements and learn to shop for them. It's not a brands job to cater to what size you believe you are, it's your job to know the literal numbers you fit into. And learning those numbers would save you from making a fool out of yourself trying to read a brand that needs not be read

LOL so you are complaining about brands not being size inclusive, so you have to make these bad assumptions but when a brand is trying to change the narrative to make it better you want to go backwards. Figure out what you actually want. Quality clothes with inclusive measurement or convenience 💀✋

You didn't even ask. You accused them of not making clothes for thinner people. Your "concern" reads as cynicism. I hope you learned to do research or ask nicely instead of getting so quick to be offended for skinny people. I promise, they can survive without "extra" in front of "small."

they shop in the preemie section and Maya doesn't make onesies

It's absurd to say carrying up to a size 8x isn't size inclusive because they don't carry xxxs. Read the room--or better yet the measurements--before you post.
