Even if somehow some powers found a way to put 47's destruction to a stop and get Musk out of the paint literally today, I don't think everyone understands there is no quick "fix it." Even now. We're aleady looking at years of work just to get back to where we started, in less than 2 months

Why? Partly, it's that caregiving is too labor intensive to be profitable, but to do profitable labor, people still need their care needs (and the care needs of their community) met. So, to maximize profit, it makes sense to create a class of people who do the work of care for little or no pay.

Put differently: they don't (just) exploit women because they hate them; they (also) hate women because hating women make it easier to justify exploiting women for profit-based gains.
