Stop worrying about the RIGHT and do what is right (which is probably left!) and look after the abused and neglected- just spend the money doing the right thing and not the political thing Please.

I am a doctor, I have worked ridiculously long hours and I was never allowed to make any mistakes and use fatigue as an excuse. What he said originally was authentic, what he is saying here is disingenuous IMHO

Is it? Really?
The media has always focused on Farage because he is engaging and seemingly witty.
Personally I would rather that I never hear from him again but you media types keep putting him in my orbit.
Please stop

Seany boy I see a government trying to create a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.
They are treading an almost impossible line that satisfies the Brexit muppets and those of us who recognise the need for closer ties to Europe.
They know there is no money, so who should take the hit?

I listened and Matthew was excellent, considered, knowledgeable and uncompromising- thank you

This is where I 100% agree with you. Surestart was wonderful and I didn’t really understand it’s importance until it was gone.
It helped so many people

But it is means tested now and that is fine by me as I did not need it. I would rather see the money go to the most vulnerable ( whatever the age) than to everyone who is over or under a certain age
Again,I don’t think that is unreasonable.

I take your point but I would say that I think it ought to be means tested, like child benefit is. Would that not be reasonable?
BTW the island calls ‘February old people month’

I’m not being horrible but I went on holiday in February to a very warm, expensive country and the whole hotel was packed with people over 65.

Did you know him? Did you know his sacrifice?
His name was Eric and he fought, he sacrificed and he was a good man.
I knew him.

Because they can.
Where are the European countries?
The Arab states?
Nowhere- the Israelis are so powerful, everyone is afraid.
I am heartbroken.
My grandpa fought against the nazis,he sacrificed to fight for the innocent Jewish people. He would have fought for the Palestinians too.

There is no amount of money that could justify the slaughter of innocent civilians in their own country- never has, never will be

Why would he do this?

Is Laura a catholic?
If she is not then it begs the question as to why the appointment of a Pope matters to her.
Leo has my vote if he is ruffling the feathers of anyone by expressing love and kindness BUT I am not catholic so I am not sure what I think matters!!

What did you think about Louis Theroux’s latest programme about ‘the settlers’?
Easy to critique Trump he’s an idiot, most people know that. I am much more interested in hearing your views on the BBC documenrary

It’s not a binary thing.
There are good people and not good people from every walk of life.
I work with many people from all backgrounds and most people are good people. Not that you would know that from the non good person Nigel Farage
