I saw a few people describe Curtis Yarvin as "dumb," despite his reputation as the far-seeing philosopher-king who's inspired Peter Thiel, JD Vance, & many on the New Right. So I did some reading and, well, yikes, "dumb" is an understatement. He's just Lou Dobbs w/ bigger words. For example...

HBO has declined to renew “Sesame Street” for new episodes. The series that’s been teaching generations of little kids since 1969 now has no studio. Please consider donating to Sesame Workshop to ensure the residents of 123 Sesame Street are still around to teach kids of all needs and backgrounds.

The issue I tend to have with articles like this is that there's no 1 reason why straight men have fewer friends. Yes (say it with me now) toxic masculinity is part of the problem, without question. But there're also issues like how work increasingly takes over every moment of free time...
