Math Rescue and Word Rescue are exceedingly cute games. They have serious replay value to me, as does pretty much anything from vintage Apogee or Epic Megagames.

Fellow vintage gamers - does anyone else remember Pie In The Sky 3D Game Creation System (P3DGCS) for DOS? I put many hours into this as a kid, building levels of this janky Doom style game. I recall one of the stock weapons was the "goo gun" and there was a 3d Alan Greenspan head sprite, lol.

Back when I was a hard boy I was never able to advance beyond a journeyman of kicks. Ryu was out there in the meanest of streets fighting, I guess.

I always loved Nik Kershaw - his music was so... playful and fun, for lack of better descriptors. He wasn't ever very big here in the US, but I did my best to follow his music even then. Still love it today.

@sbristow87.bsky.social Yo, your work is awesome! If you don't already have a publisher, hit me up. Would be honored to gave some of your work in the Silk Rhode Books catalog.

Even though it's not your #1 favorite of all time, what's an anime that means something special to you?

I like Pokemon although I don't know much about it. I dipped pretty much after first gen and played a bit of second gen. My favorite Pokemon was Beedrill mostly because he just looked badass and I thought pin missile was a cool move. That's a good enough reason I think, lol #pokemon

Age yourself with a movie you saw in theaters

YouTube, my goodness, I still don't like watching random people caulk their bathrooms or make a salad. Unpopular opinion, but I also don't want to see Kaizo Mario stuff, despite it constantly showing up in the shuffle. Other than that, the algorithm is, um, perfect, I guess. lol

This is my exact sense of humor: unintentional, absurd, wholesome, simple. No notes.

@realgilbertacp.bsky.social I just wanted to mention what a comfort this podcast has been to me over the years. And I will tell you I revisit the 2016 interview with Whoopi at Caroline's fairly regularly because it is simply wonderful. Thanks for keeping this going, Frank!

Iceman is firmly mid-tier, but I'm really surprised they didn't give him this move as an assist type. I have a feeling it would be an incredible anti-air assist. #mvc2

I just... my goodness I'm beaming over this. What a gift. This is proof that wondrous magic still exists if you look for it.

What's your sign?

The defeated sprite of Iceman from "Rockman: The Power Battle" is gloriously janky and I love it. #megaman #rockman
