Update: omg Confetti Mountain exploded you guys! But instead of a disastrous Pompeii it coated the set in calming good vibes. This is the power of acting.

Update: now there's a mountain of confetti surrounding the lead actors. It's very difficult to perform acting under the surprising weight of a confetti mountain. They are killing it and should be cast in your next confetti-related venture.

Anora- Enjoyed it most. Like a 70s flick, layered characters. Not a tragicomedy but a comic tragedy in that order. Will win Best Picture.
The Brutalist- Striking visuals & score. Brody is a lock. Probably cinematography & production design, too. Can't believe it cost only 10 mill.

Saw 4 more films before tonight's "deadline for meaningless art award but a tradition all the same." lol
A Complete Unknown- Great music performances. Bet it'll win for sound, not sure if more.
The Wild Robot- Loved it, as good as Flow. Terrific world building, honest tone about death in nature.

Nosferatu- Really wanted to like it but didn't. Too disgusting for me but perhaps that's the point. All the same, I walked out. Very well shot and striking, tho, so maybe cinematography or production design.
Dune: Part Two- It's Dune: Part Two, what's not to like?

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl- Loved it. I'm a fan of Aardman Animations so I knew I would.
Flow- Terrific. Beautiful imagery and delightfully simple story. I feel this should win animated feature but think Inside Out 2 will win. (or Wild Robot, which I've yet to see)

The Substance- Wow, just nuts. Can't believe Demi Moore did a body horror flick. Laughed so hard at Dennis Quaid slamming shrimp. Demi should win, not sure if she will.
Conclave- I liked it, good thriller. Don't think it'll win anything tho.
Inside Out 2- It was fine. Not as great as first one.

Already Seen: Emilia Pérez- original, kinetic, funny, poignant. Saldana a lock but I don't think Gascón can win now given her past tweets. Might win adapted screenplay, cinematography, song, international feature.
A Real Pain- loved it. Sad & funny. Culkin is a lock. Might win original screenplay.

Probably need a song from Talking Book on this list, too. Saw him for the first time this fall in his GOTV mini tour, it was spectacular.

Ooof, I hear ya. That moment felt so rehearsed. "Hmmm, how can I do the heil and still be able to deny it later? I know, I'll touch my heart before in a moment of faux sincerity."
This Nazi Lite bullshit pisses me off so much.
