I enjoyed the article. It shed light on a problem I really never thought about. It's made me more cautious to accept some research as fact. It's also validated me about the fact that I've always found TED talks to be a bit charlatan-ish feeling.

Anytime I find a person from X on Bsky, I immediately unfollow them on Twitter, that way it will have fewer and fewer threads to attract me there and I will eventually only come here. I'm going for the organic method. It might take a while, but if you get in a rhythm it'll happen.

Do bikes belong to foot patrol? I feel that weather permitting bikes would be somewhat more efficient. Some foot patrol would be good, but you can cover a lot of ground on a bike, and ground cars won't.
