Looking at old photos leaves me with the feeling that the shift to viewing buildings as assets and not places has robbed us of so much public art.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

There used to be a stable, I think, on our property before our house was moved here. At least that's what it looks like on the old aerial photographs from before 1925. I'm honestly seriously tempted to try my hand at amateur archaeology this summer and see if there's anything to find.

AOC is stepping up.

T4T encounters are mostly just both people being confused about why someone so beautiful would ever pay attention to them.

I fucking hate the future. I was watching Babylon 5 but I guess it's changed streaming services in the last week.

I got most of our trade paperbacks moved to new shelves today, but this raises the question: where the hell are the rest of them?

I was just thinking I'd gone an hour without anxiety crying, but nope

The fact that there are *several* near Lake and Nicollet but none by Lake and Lyndale is extremely telling. This isn't about safety, this is about control.

Flight attendants just calmly doing their job keeping people safe despite their feet being on the roof of the plane 😮👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I'm so tired of sneezing like 20+ times a day. I'm not sure what's setting off my allergies, but something is.

I think that's the medevac that was basically in the area and offered to land at the airfield after the crash. They're on the ATC recording asking to land nearby to help out.

We got a Costco membership for the first time in our lives today. They asked why & I said because treat your workers well, you value diversity, & you didn’t cave in to authoritarian demands. He said: “We’ve been getting lots of folks saying that, thanks for joining.” Who needs a gallon of ketchup?

God damn I love my Sunday D&D group.

Comcast shat the bed in south Minneapolis bad enough they've actually put it on the outage map.

If you had asked me what my first skeet to hit 100 likes would be, I would not have guessed one about Dayton heiresses calling out Target Corp.

The least realistic part of Babylon 5 is people just rocking up to their interstellar flight like 15 minutes before the ship leaves.

Watching Babylon 5 tonight, getting to the end of season 1, and it keeps throwing me a bit that they're using miles and fahrenheit, particularly when talking to scientists.
