Dutch system is excellent - very modern, efficient and digitised. A mix of private providers and insurance, but with strong government controls over pricing of insurance and care, minimum cover, etc. Works extremely well for everyone. 2/2

True. Understood. I live in NL but come from UK. No healthcare system is perfect, but US one is particularly broken at present. UK also broken, but for other reasons, and at least equally broken for everyone! 1/2

No. The biased right-wing media decided, in the absence of anything useful to do, to make a non-story an “issue” and so in the interests of not distracting the government’s agenda further, Haigh did the honourable (but sadly unnecessary thing) and resigned. Not complicated.
