18/19th century woodblock master Katsushika Hokusai described himself as "the old man crazy about art". His ‘Falls at Aoigaoka’, done when he was 72, depicts water plunging into the outer moat of the shogun’s castle, as water carriers & cleaners go about their daily tasks
