I wonder if he was drunk when he said that π€£

Bonus, I tracked down my Glaive from the Comrades side content. I liked her more than the chocobros π€£

Finished! Aside from some resin over the top to seal it all. Turned out pretty cute π

Done the back. Should look OK when it's glossed. Got some details to add to the front and some shading to fix, but I think it looks cute so far π

Mixing my gouache paints for this shade. I'm not good at that either. #FailedUpwards
Gonna finish it tomorrow. #CFSissomuchfun

Omg it might be. They never said what happened to him although with all that gunfire I guess they didn't have to

Thank you π
I saw her in Sea's collection on twitter and she shared the site link. There's a set of 3 or you can buy them individually, although I ended up getting mine off Ebay in the end for a bit cheaper than they cost here

And that's the base painted and sealed with resin, which kinda wrecked the shading job i did on it, but oh well, lesson for next time.
Glued it onto the base and tested it, and it looks cute! Perfect night light β€οΈ

Onto the base. First bit done. Gonna build it up and make it look less crappy, paint it and hopefully the tiny too critical child likes it π€£

Trust the process...
One is a natural wood looking one and the others are the classic white just so it's not too samey. Totally messed up the colour first go by tipping too much gold into the brown so that went in a box mould I also had out. 2nd go was perfect π
Now I have to wait π

Got all the detailing colours done today. It looks better from the front π€£

Ignore the box mould, I'm trying to do two things at once.
I have a bunch of coloured UV resin for jewellery making, but it's also perfect for these. Colours are ready and just need to put a blob on a silicon tray and paint. They also mix like paint for different shades. So far going well π

I love them π
The crocodile is my fave and aside from the rhino losing a tiny bit off the top of his horn, which is easily fixed with some uv resin, gold mica powder and a toothpick, they came out perfectly.
And the castle is white. Gonna have to paint that I guess.

Painted the inside of the moulds with mica powder, hot glued the two sides together to stop spillage, and filled them. I probably only needed 50ml tops. The rest was enough to fill up this castle mould i bought for a totally different project. I hadn't planned the colours out so now it's a tester.

My family has a lotta board games, and one of them is Jumanji. The pieces in the box suck. They're all rhinos. Talk about phoning it in. So I found some moulds on Sophie and Toffee and couldn't resist making better ones.

Don't look at the back! Lotta glue, but I got both finished and only burned myself once. That's an achievement seeing how I had silicon fingertips on π€£
Added some feathers, paper flowers, these silvery leaf things and a resin rose.
One is brand spanking new and the other has been well loved β€οΈ

2nd one is beadified π€£
Lot easier even with less to stick on since I had the 1st one as a guide to what I want it to look like.
Gonna find my glue gun and stick feathers to them next. Probs gonna glue myself more π€£π€·ββοΈ

Beading on mask 1 is done! Mindlessly therapeutic and pretty satisfying π
Mask 2 has a lot less to stick on thankfully π

I have newfound respect for people who spend hours doing fiddly beading. Thankfully only one mask will have the full assortment while the other gets to be all distressed

Not quite as skilled as nature in getting light across a canvas, but I had a go and decided to stop there before I totally ruined everything I spent the last week doing. It's now the central artwork on my family photo wall. Not gonna share that, but I'm happy π
From tomorrow, it's masks π€

Still working on this. Building up the layers and adding more branches. Convenient shaft of sunlight is convenient π€£π€·ββοΈ
Gonna add one more layer of branches and see where we're at π
Totally loving the gouache. It's so easy to use, even for a noob like me β€οΈ

Bg colours down and it's still going reasonably well. Let's see whether or not I fuck up all the detailing π€£π¬π±

Finally got around to starting this. Using gouache paint for a change. I figure if I mess up at least I can layer over and blend my mistakes away. It's going okay so far. I'm actually pretty happy with my progress βΊοΈ

I tried playing Fable 2 the other day and was almost crying at how dated it is π
