Science, music, travel and opaque jokes. I prefer "progressive liberal" to "lefty". I don't follow back people who push Crypto. If you're really desperate to know more you can ready my autobiography..

Is anyone keeping track in case he's issued any contradictory Executive Orders? Given his memory issues it's highly likely.

Led by a little deuce coupe of course.

Well, you'd want to be sure

I gave my wife my grandmother's old bracelet for her birthday. She asked why it said "do not resuscitate"

Someone not qualified to wear any kind of military uniform.

So his motivation for removing "illegals" is that they don't vote for him, rather than they "take jobs from Americans" or any of the usual garbage.

This is Daniel "absolutely nobody is talking about leaving the single market" Hannan I presume.. Ill informed moron, obviously the worst kind of moron.

I guess he never heard of De-nazification and the Marshall plan. Given that the US can take some credit for post war German and Japanese success I'm surprised he doesn't.

Been to the US numerous times over the years. No plans to visit until sanity returns, and I know a lot of other people with the same view. The number of ads for US holidays (Disney, etc) seems to have increased lately..

You can drink tap water anywhere in the world, but in some places you can only drink it once.

Hardly "full of". The dose makes the poison, and the miniscule amount of fluoride in drinking water are harmless to your health but reduce tooth decay. Back in your box.

I believe so. But on the plus side I don’t think the kids have Murdoch senior’s business sense so the empire may crumble anyway.

The world will be a better place when we read Rupert Murdoch's obituary. Shortly after the collapse of News International I hope..

He also didn’t graduate from Wharton. He took a course there as part of his degree at Pennsylvania and was famously stupid.

Don’t tell my kids (who loved it) but I thought it was like a 2 hour EMO pop video. Beautiful to look at but curiously unsatisfying in plot. I liked the fireguard turning its head but it didn’t lead to anything.

Capitalism. See also the hugely indebted water companies who also manage inadequate, outdated sewage farms while paying huge dividends and salaries. Read “the ragged trousered philanthropists”…

"the job of the President wasn't to wield power but to attract attention away from it". I think about this often...

We do that in the UK too, except at private hospitals (irony, much). Even the medical staff do in some.

Touched the bar on a just turned on electric fire to see how quickly it warmed up. It wasn't hot but it was live... Tried to force a glass rod into a plastic tube in a chemistry lab. It broke in my palm. "That's bad" I thought. It was, blood everywhere and I still have the scar.

And yet Reform are leading the polls. It's almost like Reform voters don't know what they're voting for.

In the other place you can do a new post in a hashtag that you're searching. Especially with something like Eurovision last night; it's irritating to keep typing the hashtag. Unless I'm being thick and there's something I didn't know.

This is exactly it. I work in support on a very elderly VMS machine that's part of a large, complex industrial monitoring system. The only people with an overview of the whole thing are retiring and "the law of unintended consequences" bites us in the arse all the time.
