Shit always gets crazy in the summer. We're not quite 6 months into Trump 2.0 and we've already reached the "send in the National Guard" phase. Anyone who remembers 1992 knows how bad this is likely to get. I fear it's only a matter of time before someone gives the order to open fire.

I don't know if you can moral-high-ground fascists. Let's be honest, if they want a reason they'll find a reason. Could be MLK, Jesus, and Ghandi walking peacefully arm in arm and they'd still cry insurrection if thats what they want. Just my opinion.

An apology on social media is an apology to the public. It doesn’t mean anything unless you have, or attempted to contact the people you have wronged, in person or on the phone.

OK she needed to apologize. But we won't ever forget that she filed a noise complaint ffs on a neighboring show, she thought that way/said what she said (in an interview with The New Yorker!!!) She made the stinky mess so that's that. Words can really harm people and harm has lasting effects.
