Fox is awake. The smell of the earth and grass outside combines with the cedar/pine panels of our room; a deep and soothing blend. Warm fur and tuna breath will add to it as soon as the cats know I'm up. Whiffly purrs and chirping all the way to the kitchen, one in my arms, one pouncing my ankles.

Had a great chat with my psychiatrist yesterday, and we agreed that this is the right medicine! I literally have to learn HOW to be 'okay', since I've never actually BEEN 'okay' in my life, but I think we'll get there. Fragile is always better than breaking. I can do that. I deserve to try.
