Bubble grow until they pop.
Eventually those massive AI data centres will be reporposed or dismantlesed.
Companies will fail and investors will loose money. People will lose their jobs.

I would put down a £5 bet it's evolved in parallel.
However it's probably common enough that it's necessary for the way that brains work.
Much the same as blood and eyes evolved several times more or less independently 🙂
