All your replies are GOLD. I reiterate the whole 'communicate with your creatives' thing; also 'don't treat authors like idiots', 'pay us more', 'STOP LOSING YOUR MINDS WITH GLEE OVER AI, YOU BELLENDS', 'Newsflash: if you don't market a book, IT WON'T SELL, and that's not the author's fault.'

Writers: before you sign a contract with a publisher, make sure AI isn't replacing your illustrator, your translator, your editor, your jacket designer. Readers: if you're thinking of buying a book, do the same. Refuse. Resist. If AI garbage doesn't sell, people will stop making it.
