Men would look at this and say "Hell yeah"

"We decided to translate this project from English rather than from Japanese" is my personal "You don't need to translate anything, just edit the MTL".

Every translator who feels self-doubt about their dialogue skills deserves a scene like this to work on so that they can rest easy knowing, without a doubt, that sometimes character writing do be like that and the end result isn't their fault.

"Ah good, I finally stabilized against monored, there's no way they can get enough damage to OTK me the next turn!" The dastardly Manifold Mouse:

Did 4chan shape a lot of my media tastes and online behavior? Yes, I'm not going to lie about it. Am I sad to see it go? No, not really. I don't think I visited it since 2017, and it has become a very different place than it was in 2007. No sentimental value can justify its current state.

I tend to connect heavily to any project I pick up, but honestly, it has to be Demon Slayer. Picking it up on a whim before it was a blip on anyone's radar, making it my movie TL debut, getting ads on bus stops and in newspapers - I'm simply glad so many people love the same story I do.

Every time I check the replies to some viral tweet around here, I can't help but be taken aback by the extent to which people want nothing to do with Twitter. Just call them tweets. Just call it Twitter. You're using a website that's structured the same, own to that fact, it's alright.

Finally done with a project that has been haunting me since September. It's going to take some time to get used to living without the constant pressure over my head, but I'm glad I can finally focus on other matters without feeling guilty.

Having translated Scard on the Praeter (a show I might as well have made up), these GoHands projects are so baffling to me. Entire multimedia efforts, with character song CDs, merchandise lines, the whole shebang, and none of it feels genuine. Like aliens trying to imitate human culture.
