I never see him get like this but that I think of how he must have been in his three seconds as a teacher.

If they were serious about this they'd start with a program describing whatever war would turn Canada into a state and not with the fait accompli.

This one is just out of the park weird though. Who is this even for except Trump and his cohort?

They did indeed. But given that it's a cobroadcast with NPR, I doubt it will be just that.

You can see the back end in Google Earth, they have a checkbox for subnational parks. I guess the use case is Americans travelling in Canada would use their own nomenclature. In any event, they list state parks as provincial parks too.

I might also lead with the projected casualty count of the war that would bring this all about.

On reflection, I think my favourite thing about his post is the assurance that they'll put the same care into it as they would into any other program. I feel like if I were a national broadcaster, I'd probably put a bit more care into a program on an existentialism threat to my state than usual.

There's not reading the room, and there is whatever playful horror of a show this is.

This would be like Ireland being threatened by England and RTE deciding the response should be a 2 hour show going around asking people about whether they'd enjoy seeing the royal family on the money again.

I imagine that's because you sort of hopped right over any talk of invasion and conquest to imagine the aftermath in an amazingly breezy announcement about thinking about Canada as a US state.

If that's young FG I'd hate to see those they consider old.

This would suggest a level of cleverness and cunning that I have not yet seen in such columnists, alas.

Luckily they print their opinions about everything in every edition.

His reasons for leniency are just the grossest and most offensive out there.

I just think it's the misogyny we're all sitting in. Depressingly.

He was mature enough to carefully set it up and carry it through. He meticulously planned a rape and got 2 years.

They're all good lads from good families that play GAA and would never do the thing that they have been found guilty of doing.

Nolan. Which doesn't surprise me that much given the way he views sexual assault as not that serious a thing.

If papers can't call rape of a 14 year old rape, it doesn't surprise me that he's still going strong. Sadly.

Yes. Blithely ignored as usual by Nolan who treats rape and assault as some sort of minor trouble you got into by accident in an otherwise solid life.

I am sure he took sexual assault very seriously all the time he was a Garda member.
