AA shes adorable ALSO TIP i'm assuming you used vroid2pmx for the pmx model, if you want physics use pmxtailor after converting with vroid2pmx

try quickmagic ai for the mocap (should come out as a vmd file) (or just motion trace manually) and use vroid2pmx and pmxtailor to convert your model into a pmx model, and load all that up into MMD (or use another program i dunno this sounds like a bunch of jargon 😭)

definitely experiment with hair textures! if you want it to match the rest of your model, i'd say go for a cel shaded approach. you can always make your own textures or there are a bunch of free and paid assets on booth

advice: the default hair texture isn't the best, i recommend making one yourself or there are a lot of free assets on booth

be the weirdness u want to be! it doesn't matter if people want to be an angry mob because your model doesn't look the way they want it to. what matters about your avatar is that you're unique ✨

my go to way is to go into the hair editor and adjust each group by selecting the whole group and clicking the move button, it's tedious but i haven't really found any other way
