Saw a hawk and checked the field guide expecting not to be able to identify it from a glance. Come to find out New Zealand has only 5 species of bird of prey?! I grew up in an area with 7 species of just hawk. Like I'm not mad, this makes birdwatching a lot easier. Just blew my mind a bit.

Folks who are citizens of other countries and are considering travel to the United States for a vacation or work or whatever: I strongly advise against it. You will not have protection from the illegal actions of this administration. It's not worth it. Don't roll the dice by traveling here.

Went up to Taranaki Maunga and Dawson Falls over the weekend. The Goblin Forest lives up to it's name, and we saw a Tomtit up close, which was adorable. This was my favorite phone picture of the trip. I tried it on the Sony as well but haven't looked to see if it turned out. #nz #photography

The President has chosen to intentionally crash the U.S. economy and financial system by doing things which have been ridiculed in every intro macroeconomics class for the past 80+ years. Those with the power to stop him refuse to do so because they hate minorities.
