Just back from another jaunt to Berlin. Highlight of the trip being Hertha v Hamburg A five goal thriller in front of 71k with over 20k away fans and this is Bundesliga 2! If you're tempted to go do it. Amazing atmosphere and didn't cost a fortune. Plus amazing city of course.

A new record attendance weekend in the 2. Bundesliga. The 9 matches attracted 322,468 spectators at an average of 33,983 per game. It beats the old record from Matchday 24 last season: Top 3 were: Hertha-HSV 71,500 (including 20,000 fans from Hamburg) Schalke-Nürnberg 61,955 Köln-Elversberg 49,800.
