Explorers of Sky completely changed my life after I played it.
Still trying to figure out if it was for better or worse.

I can think of at least three universally beloved artists on there that I lost all respect for after seeing the I-word tag in their gallery lol
I'm extremely tempted to name-drop them but I also don't endorse or want to risk harassment, so I'll do everyone a favor keep my mouth shut.

Definitely not just a furry issue, I'm just saying that FA seems way less shameless about it.
At least on the hub you could MAYBE argue that people say that shit ironically, I highly doubt it's ironic on FA.

Fuckin' wild site that FA is, not helped by the concerning number of artists who are perfectly fine with drawing this shit.
It's one thing if you use this type of art as a means to cope with trauma, but I doubt that's what most people ACTUALLY use it for.
It's fucking disgusting.

And don't even get me started on FurAffinity.
It's not nearly as toxic in my experience but if I had a nickel for every time I had someone try to convince me that fetishizing incest is fine I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it disturbs me that it's happened twice.

Still better than twitter where answering "No" to that will get you death threats

As a small artist myself it means a lot to me when somebody leaves a positive comment on one of my posts. It makes my day just a little bit better and I would never take that for granted.
There's a difference between admiring someone's work and admiring someone, even in a purely platonic context.

Kind of insane to me just how normalized parasocial relationships have become.
Just because somebody reacts positively to your posts or makes a positive reply does not immediately mean friendship. I get that this is easy to forget sometimes, but it also SHOULDN'T be easy to forget.

The housing market is insane, and these types of people are NOT helping.
If you can offer 200k more than the asking price it seems to me that you're already pretty well off.

The fact that they're promoting it as heavily as they are shows irrefutably that they want the originals to be obsolete.
I groan everytime I see an ad for this piece of shit, it just makes me want to watch the original even more since that's already a masterpiece.

Nine times out of ten when someone asks if I'm okay my answer will be "Yes, I'm just tired".
I lie every time. I am absolutely not okay.

Also heads up - I can only accept payments through PayPal at this moment in time.

Granted, I doubt the staff at Bluesky are going to allow the platform to be taken over by nazis, at least not in the foreseeable future, but given enough time everything we like about this site will probably have faded away.
Again, this is not the site's fault. It's the fault of the people using it.

Could this still be called anxiety or am I just getting closer to paranoia at this point?

That's not to imply that I will immediately block someone for following over a thousand accounts, of course not. I still need a good reason to block someone. All I'm saying is that something about it makes me uncomfortable and I can't really explain why.

See that's the thing, I'm not.
I could REALLY use some of that good stuff soon before my mind implodes on itself.

I know this is partially a result of how bad the Roblox corporation is, considering how little developers get for their hard work, but still. It at least gives me comfort that some developers can deviate from the standard and still find success, even if those success stories are few and far between.

That's not to say there's NO good games on the platform, though. Block Tales, Arcane Odyssey, DOORS, and Evade are a few I can name off the top of my head, and there are plenty more for sure. However they tend to get overshadowed by low-effort, desperation-scented slop, and it's honestly sad.
