To that, Canada isn't broke and it's GDP export is more then expenses, for now. I say for now because tariffs imposed will drop that. They deregulated energy in 1996 and Albertans pay thr most in energy costs. We already pay the highest insurance costs so why not pay more. The UCP have an agenda to destroy Alberta yet their supporters don't seem to realize it.

But it's the end consumers that pay for these tariffs. Retaliatory tariffs is not useful for anyone. Trump plays a dangerous game and in the end it will be bad for everyone. Companies in the USA will either look to manufacture in house or spend more to get cheaper items in.
