I was watching a retrospective on early Power Rangers & I agree w/the OP. It really sticks in my brain how even back in the early-mid Saban days they really should've been willing to lean into actually letting new seasons refresh instead of doggedly keeping the core cast.

I think he uses his dorkiness to specifically to distract people from how much he really really has to be The Guy (at least if the stuff about him & Black Adam/how he plays up his diet/workouts), and you can probably sense that and that's why you're not about it with him.

Most of that is a result of just continuing to be Myself. I'm not one for the laws of attraction per se but I will say that when you're doing your best to be Yourself, including self-improvement...well, things change, and often for the better. (3/3)

and this is the same stream in which two separate skil mutations happened to two separate demons and *both times* i got the best possible result: they learned a full-party healing spell. BOTH times.

for context, ahriman is one of the last bosses of smt nocturne who is infamous for, in the 1st half of the fight, directly limiting what actions you can take, sometimes for multiple turns at a time. he got two shots at me and still didn't kill me. (2/3)
