If you're not able to differentiate between the various facets, the good and the bad, then maybe revisit who's giving you that information
Because there's an entire (faith-based) movement that has cynically adopted social justice language as a means to justify suppressing all sexual expression.

I wrote about instagram’s content moderation for @jezebeldotcom.bsky.social in 2023: “if they can at any time go back & decide that something you posted 7 years ago is now not ok, you shouldn’t have a history. & if Instagram is no longer a repository for my memories, then why am I on there at all?”

This doesn’t mean:
Minors should have access. Workers shouldn’t have rights.
It doesn’t mean you have to like or understand everything. It doesn’t mean certain things can’t offend you.
But that’s true of all forms of speech. And sexuality. And labor.
Censorship silence those discussions.
