Regarding my motivation to make music, I decided to make own music for my games after I finish all art and gameplay, while I will use placeholder music to test flow and mood. It does mean that I can't release demos with copyrighted music.

I've heard that Braid was hard to port to Xbox 360 due to lack of RAM, so the game captures game state at 15-20 FPS or so, then compresses it via differences and omitting static elements

On original arcade hardware version of Shinobi, the helicopter drops behind the ground. On the new Neo Geo port it drops in front of the ground, causing middle explosion sprites to drop. I speculate that the helicopter and explosion sprites are rendered on the same sprite layer.
