It is becoming clearer with every shitpost and every fake press conference on, or in the general vicinity of Parliament Hill, that Poilievre and Jenni have learned nothing from the unpleasantness of April 28.

Has a room ever been misread as badly as Poilievre's room-misreading today?

One other thing for Pierre Poilievre to worry about - and that is a growing list - is that his remarkable ability to skate whenever Conservatives blatantly lie in the public discourse... it's starting to crack. That "stop the steal" style fundraising email was a bad mistake on multiple levels.

It varies from day to day, but Poilievre's behaviour since April 28 is an unholy concoction of narcissism and desperation.

When it all comes out in the wash, the communications between Danielle Smith or her emissaries, and various foreigners, will be shocking.

The delightful thing about this Poilievre by-election mess is that, as long as he is in politics, and for some time thereafter, the Conservatives can never complain about the cost of an "unnecessary" election or by-election.

Cue Pierre Poilievre and Conservatives complaining about the egregious and unnecessary expense of a byelection for someone who simply couldn't win his seat the first time around in 3... 2... ... oh, wait. #cdnpoli

A good many of these statements of loyalty to Poilievre, ostensibly coming from Conservative MPs, even sound convincing.

I am fascinated by Poilievre's position that Kurek is stepping aside "temporarily" ... what sort of shenanigans are being played here? And are they even legal?

The thing that burns Pierre Poilievre's ass more than anything else right now? The House of Commons broadcast equipment and personnel are no longer his personal clip crew.

If you want to understand how Rebel News lives by ripping stuff out of context, pressprogress.ca/this-viral-p... here, let me help: canadiancynic.blogspot.com/2021/05/grif...

So 14 is good enough to vote for Pierre Poilievre eh?

Poilievre's save-the-furniture tour is coming to Calgary. Translation : a bunch of Edmonton Conservative incumbents are boned.

Trump brings up "Governor Trudeau" and says, "I have to be honest. As a state, it works great. As a nation ... why are we spending $200 billion? It doesn't make sense."

We now go live to Pierre Poilievre.

Main takeaway from the Conservative platform : Pierre Poilievre continues to be very vain.

It is somewhat disappointing that neither the journalists, nor the talking heads and experts, who are omnipresent on the housing beat, haven't explored the fundamentally NIMBY-coded way that Poilievre talks about housing.

A lot of folks are whiffing off the Conservative "Golf" ad, not remembering: if you don't "get" a political ad, it usually means you're not the target market. So what does it tell you about the demographic Poilievre is trying to persuade or motivate?

Flicking through Poilievre's online record of video, it's striking how often he has gone out of his way to change his clothes, his hair, his voice, his body. He is profoundly - PROFOUNDLY - uncomfortable in his own skin, and always has been.

Pierre Poilievre should fully wear this evening's disruption of the Leader Debate scrum by Ezra Levant and his band of thugs! Pierre encourages and supports their violent and hateful rhetoric at his rally's. They are HIS messengers of hate. This is what a Poilievre gov't would look like. Chaos!!

Justin Trudeau is going to haunt Pierre Poilievre to the end of his - Poilievre's - days.

You can already hear the same swelling music track that Poilievre's social media intern is dropping over the clip of Poilievre's overacted closing soliloquy.

Who else hears the American undercoating of Poilievre's affected speaking register?

Congratulations to everyone involved in the Conservative Party's long term project of creating a bunch of fake news grift outlets to act as fronts and cutouts. Thanks to your bullshit, even if Carney's pants had fallen down on the debate stage last night, no one would ever know.

The big takeaway from the French debate? Poilievre's fake smile is getting faker.

This times a million. x.com/garnet_2203/...

A classic conman sales technique, expertly used by expert conman, Pierre Poilievre. No matter what you "went through" - everyone goes through shit - he's talking "to" you. He's especially talking to the anti-vax weirdos. But if you're not one of them, you can fill in the blank any way you like.

If I didn't know any better, I would say that Poilievre's notwithstanding clause bit was scripted by Ezra himself.

One benefit of being in the actual election campaign now is that Poilievre does most of his time in the public eye while standing. As opposed to sit-down TV and internet interviews where he would conspicuously and bizarrely manspread, as Republicans are trained to do for some reason.

The question is, does Pierre Poilievre trust *his own internal Conservative Party polls*? The answer is : yes. That's why he is now in permanent "reset" mode.
