This is how John Lewis got his most grevious injury. He said he was willing to die for the cause and he wanted to make them look into his eyes as they beat him. I think this is how it goes and that really, really sucks because I think I know what it says about me that I don’t know if I could do it.

I watched the John Lewis documentary last night and had this saddening realization that people will have to put their bodies on the line to see any change. They trained by beating each other up back the so they could take it better when they got beat in diners and on the streets. 😭

Sorry a city of 10 million couldn’t have a picture perfect protest as the gestapo ripped families apart and the US military descended upon it. 🤷🏻♀️ We should keep focusing on the flags for sure though. The media wouldn’t cover this in favor of protesters no matter how they did it and you know it.

As the mom of a 12 yr old boy with a very rare disease that we know the exact mutation of, this is very cool. He had his 1st NIH visit at 5 wks old and last at 3 yrs old when treatment had to stop. This is the first glimmer of hope that there could be a cure for kids like him in a very long time.

This made me laugh out loud, mostly because I have a cat named Potato. She escaped and got lost last week so I was out canvassing the neighborhood all day calling out “potatooooo” and now all I can imagine is gender neutral folks coming out of their homes, annoyed, trying to see what I want. 🤣
