They're all divorced in my mind. Even the baby. Especially the baby.

Imagine being the intern at Disney's law firm being told by your boss to generate AI Yoda images. What life decisions put you there. I need to talk to them.

But yeah. Had to take like 15 minutes off the line until I stopped seeing red.

Legitimately thankful I have an amazing partner, good coworkers, and nice regulars. Had people come up to me all evening after asking if I was doing okay.

As the old joke goes, an American diplomat and Soviet diplomat met up, and the American says "I really admire your country's propaganda." The Soviet says, "True, it is good, but it is nothing compared to American propaganda." The American, confused, responds "We don't have propaganda."

I remember being in school in the wake of the GFC in 2008 and learning about the Great Depression and how an American stock crash caused economic effects across the world. "When America sneezes, the rest of the world catches a cold." This, I believe, is true to politics and culture.

It is especially frustrating because I am not an American. I should not have to watch and understand your culture wars to see how they are imported across "The West". Yet this is not new, and has been the established order for decades. Oh well.

Of course it is relatively rich that I'm making these points as if they specifically mean anything in June of 2025. The signs have been there, the warnings were issued. The bag has been fumbled by the powers that be.

That does not even take into account the inter/national viewpoint one could take. This signals, to me, that no person of foreign birth - regardless of position of privilege or class - is safe in America.

The anti-human ideology that is the backbone of brazen actions like above penetrates too deep. What causes a person to turn a weapon on another person? An unarmed person? An unarmed person with their back turned? An unarmed person with their back turned and several cameras pointing at them?

Life in general is disorienting but we still put the headset on

Right??? I'm legitimately considering the implications. Imagine one head being in VR and the other two are just in regular life. Fun as a concept though. Imagine the vr head getting too excited and taking over body control in the line at Greggs
