Grassley and other senators introduced legislation to revoke tariffs that aren’t approved by Congress within 60 days. They have been asleep while Trump has torn up the constitution, and seem to have no inkling of his strategies. He will simply create the same tariff every 60 days.

Trump harmed the world by imposing import taxes. But at least he spared his closest ally Putin. Russia “somehow” escaped these taxes.

Musk is a lightning rod for protests. But what happens when he steps down and DOGE is still illegally shutting down departments and firing people? Do the protests lose steam, continue to protest Musk even though he is gone, or transform? Seems to me the real problem is Trump granting illegal powers

Let’s pretend Trump’s intention with tariffs is to increase manufacturing in the US, the opposite of his first term. Foreign firms will only build plants here if they are certain it will benefit them long term. Trump’s herky, jerky chaos delivers anything but certainty. Few will want to build here.

Presidents don’t have line item veto power. But even if they did, once a law is passed, they are duty bound to enforce it. Congress has budgeted numerous organizations, and presidents have signed those budgets into law. By unilaterally defunding them, he is violating the constitution and his oath.

To say Trump is mismanaging America’s economy would be a bigly understatement. As would saying Trump is using the Office of the Presidency for his own sadistic pleasure.

Trump’s brilliant idea is to tank the dollar by chaos and alienation, thus enabling passing a tax cut for himself. But this lowers the value of his (and our) holdings by more than he would have paid in taxes. Stupidest man ever.

During Trump's first term, he had almost nightly calls with Hannity. I wonder if he feels slighted now that most of those late night calls go to Putin?

Ask Americans are less safe under these bozos. Not only are they relaying classified information over insecure channels, they have provided yet more proof that foreign governments cannot entrust Trump with their secrets.

Tulsi Gabbard is not qualified to lead DNI. Is she Trump’s DEI hire or merely a loyal stooge? We all know she was hired solely because of her unflinching loyalty. DEI requires equal competence to co-applicants, and she is NOT that. Why isn’t there more outcry against loyalty tests than against DEI?

It’s good that Trump is concerned about the Atlantic reporter being included in classified conversations on unsecured phones. It’s bad that he is concerned not because of his cabinet’s security lapses, but with whether Fox can sufficiently spin the leaks to his cult.
