Skyrim not even getting out of the first round shatters my soul.

This was the exact dynamic during Biden's public appearance blitz after his poor debate showing. I guarantee the vast majority of the "Biden's brain is cooked" people have no idea it even happened, because the political media sure pretended that it didn't.

Also, obviously, discourage any endeavors of hate, tribalism, bigotry, racism, greed, selfishness, and anything else that is anti-altruistic.

I say this as an adherent of rule-utilitarianism and ontological objective moral realism myself. If one wants actual effective altruism, the best thing one can do is to encourage people to act on the altruistic endeavor they have a passion for, which can include supporting a political candidate.

So this is just canonically what happens to Maeby after Arrested Development?

And historically, conservatives haven’t always been what defines the Republican Party’s base. So hating the GOP all your life is misleading to claim. Historically, you could find many of these conservatives in the Democratic Party up until Nixon’s Southern Strategy started seeing them shift away.

Black people, Native Americans, Jews, Abortion Providers, and the LGBT Community would all disagree with you here. Conservatives, and the right wing, generally, have always been about bloodlust towards those they consider in the out-group — to those they consider inferior in some way.

Considering how badly this issue is polling, I can only conclude that Fetterman is genuine here. He really enjoys the bloodthirsty thought of Iranians getting bombed to death by the US. Holy shit.

I’ve seen this argued both ways, but is this the consensus position of scientists?

These two have the most toxic relationship. I love it!

There are many Marxists who also believe social issues are a distraction. The others falsely believe social issues will be fixed automatically when material conditions are fixed; so, really, in their own way, those Marxists also think social issues are a distraction.

This is an extremely loaded question, whether you like the result of it or not.

She never backed off her commitment to us. And for that I will always be grateful.

I only hope Democratic lawmakers don’t get intimidated and act irrationally due to this but rather get indignant / motivated and act intelligently due to it. I know that’s asking a lot of any elected officials, but, more than ever before, we can’t back down.

What a bullshit headline. The article only brings out a "think tank" guy and a former deputy mayor to express concerns about protest. That's it. WSJ couldn't get one current elected official to say anything bad about the protests, but they still went with that headline anyway.

Don’t forget: it wasn’t just ok to them that he did it, it was ok that he did it twice.

The ADL when confronted with the dilemma as to whether they’re an organization that exists for the dignity and equal rights of Jewish people or whether they’re just an organization operating for the political objectives for the state of Israel has unequivocally chosen the latter.

The curse of Friday the 13th or the curse of being too broke to afford a good house?

Also, people unfairly hate on Pelosi for some reason. But she’s really progressive. She got the House to pass a version of the ACA with a public option. It’s not her fault the Senate wouldn’t go for that version.

I’m glad someone said this. I feel as if I’m losing my mind right now. I mean, why do parts of the Democratic base also seem to have the memory of goldfish that the median voter also seems to have?

Best episode of the season! And it really needed a good one, imo, because this season has been a hard watch. On another note, John Cho should be cast in roles like this more often. He was awesome all throughout the ep.

Others are standing up to Trump. Padilla, Van Hollen, Walz, Beshear, etc. all are. Newsom is just in the spotlight right now because the state that he’s the governor of is personally under attack by Trump. And it’s good that he’s fighting, but that doesn’t make him a good Dem leader outside of that.
