I've had time to think about it and damn, Xbox had an overall C- rank presentation, somehow as disappointing as SGF in half the time. MIA games: -Contraband -Everwild -Perfect Dark -Gears E-Day -Fable -Forza -State of Decay 3 -Fallout 3 remaster -Project Kestrel (ESO successor?) -Project Platinum

In the Xbox commentary we did, we missed that Phil Spencer said a new Forza, Fable, Gears E-Day, and a "the return of a classic that's been with us since the beginning" would hit in 2026. So yeah, probably a Halo 1 remake as rumors suggest? It'd be a good foundational title for learning UE5.

Looking forward to the apology tweet image of a wall of text from the Split Gate social accounts for the absolute cringe of their CEO's choice in words and, more importantly, head wear. It's to remarkable me how he double-tapped the game so brutally in just 90 seconds of being on stage like that.

So, um, Marathon delay announcement after SGF? Best case scenario to me: Bungie takes 8-12 months to rework the art, make gameplay changes, increase the complexity, and yield a game that does about as well as Rocksteady's Suicide Squad. Worse case: prepare for slimmed down Bungie 3.0.

Finished Deliver at All Costs just a little bit ago and I'm suffering from whiplash. I don't understand how you start really ramping up this kinda interesting scifi mystery in the second act and end with a bad cliffhanger equivalent to hitting a brick wall. Fun ideas but what poor follow through.

Finished Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 during lunch today. 100% complete. An absolutely incredible game, ludicrously good in all aspects. 2025 Game of the Year, no question. Likely going to end up on my own personal Top 10 GOAT list.
