Thank you for posting this. My parents called Union home right after they married in the late 40s. Daddy was a Forest Researcher for the USFS. Doubt there is a research station any longer.

Same experience last month about the illegal firings of federal workers. I wear my USFS jacket everywhere now. It helps start conversations ( and in case this regime forgets....voters LOVE the federal workers in green spaces)
