I doubt that Putin would tell Vance to attack Zelenski. They respect the chain of command. Putin might make Trump sic Vance on Zelenski.

Trump and Musk are trying to take jobs away from hard-working Americans.

There are options to counter Trump's intransigence. For instance, a lot of women have these pink hats they haven't worn since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

As metal heats up, it gives off radiant heat (glows) from infrared to red to orange to white hot, which is close to the melting point of steel.

The economy does not turn on a dime. Even so, after Trump won in 2016, before he was even sworn in, Trump took credit for the market rise. This time, his waffling on tariffs made the market go down.

According to the Supreme Court, Trump v. United States (2024), the president can commit crimes with immunity from prosecution as long as he invokes national interest. That allows him to tear up the Constitution.

There are relatively easy fixes to ensure that Social Security will be there for you. Just elect senators and representatives who will keep and not privatize the fund.

From his Communist days, Putin blames America for the fall of the USSR. Putin hates American democracy. His goals are:
1. Rebuild the Russian confederation, hence the invasions of Georgia and Ukraine;
2. Create a new Iron Curtain;
3. Destroy the USA.

The yield curve was inverted for a good part of the Biden presidency, and no recession occurred, despite repeated predictions. Biden's economic team was more competent, though.

A lot of Republican politicians are willing to go along with the nonsense, which disqualifies them for me.

I am a Democrat and would probably disagree with Adam Kinzinger on many policies, but I would feel comfortable if he were president.

Not all third-party voters are liberal. The Libertarian Party is classic conservative, "keep us free from government overreach." I wonder how they feel about Trump's power grab.

Hesgeth did not lie under oath about not drinking as Secretary of Defense. He really believed it. He has not accepted that he has a problem.

This is not free enterprise. Tesla's competitors are being shut out with Musk standing at arms length of Trump.

One of those orange dots represented when I had the measles. My class had about 20 pupils and at least 15, maybe all 20 took sick time off.

The grounds for impeachment may be present, but any attempt would be futile without 20 Republican senators.

Joe Biden is retired and doesn't need the security briefs, although he might find them nice. Trump's revocation, like many of his other actions, reflects on his own petty, revenge-laden inadequacy.

Three months ago, 217 Spaniards died from severe flooding. Climate change made the rains worse. The government's slow response added to the casualties. The US can expect something similar by gutting NOAA.
