Vibes ✨

I am going to fill the inside of the Skyline with this magical spaghetti

I forget about bsky too much 😭

Tires don't arrive till next week but in the meantime I get to look at this.

Quite impressive this was still holding on

New season means new wheels I guess.. of course tires are delayed with no eta, so I can't enjoy the Ac until then

Time to build an exhaust

With a freshened up 350 and Hydra-Matic underhood, Sprocket and Shep take Sprocket's 78 Squarebody C10 for a run to the auto parts jobber. The Summer is made for cruising! Incredible art from the incomparable @redbaronwolf.bsky.social featuring myself and my fave Shep @cheekdots.bsky.social

Wrapped up a project I’ve been working for 3 months last night. It’s a badge that runs a fluid simulation, then every 20 seconds gravity turns off and the fluid slowly reveals your name. I’m so incredibly happy with how it turned out!

Not ideal!

Rear is sagging a bit so a 2" add a leaf is on the way. I don't think I can change up the front without modifying more things so I'll leave it as is

I am so close to having this thing be completely wired, radiator fan and Ac trinary switch is all that remains

It's a good feeling when everything electrically is finally working on your project. Rear defrost 'works', there are breaks on half the grid but it's something. washer squirter, windows have doubled in speed and I no longer need to have the door open for them to close, now to clean up the mess

More electrical fixing now on the truck, why spend 50$ to replace the motor when it just needs new leads to replace the crumbling 70 year old insulation. Brushes are not easy to reinstall

I've never had a working defrost but I had all the wiring. that was too easy to get working again, wipers were weird, being fed constant power but used ground as the switch. Now I just have the rad fan relay to sort out and I can call the electrical 100% finished with all systems working.

having someone say “check your DMs” in the group chat feel like getting called to the principals office

Love leaving work with some light in the sky, I would say I can't wait for the mornings to not be dark anymore but then daylight savings will just fuck it up so I won't bother

I was hoping to be able to at least go around the block but it's hard to do that with no gas.. in other news the transmission feels so goood, and even with the gearing the way it is with larger tires, first isn't as tall as the old Saginaw which is great

A new napa alternator and it's charging again! I've wired in a resistor for the exciter wire so this SHOULD be the 3rd and final alternator this thing sees

This one was quite fun, center strip colour change from mint green to white while keeping the chips and scraches, new bulkhead and tailgate, repair all stake pockets due to cracking, replicating the wear and patina around the stake pockets and tailgate followed by satin clear on the whole truck.

Loving how the engine is just sitting there without wires being routed everywhere. Makes it so clean. Just waiting on the 3rd and hopefully last alternator.. there is now a resistor wired into the exciter wire so now the voltage regulators won't burn out anymore.. hopefully

am buppy :3 🎨 @harborsorts.bsky.social

Sometimes they need a hug

Hopefully this weekend I can find some of the terminals I need to finish this new harness and get it back in the car
